Studio 99 – Account Deletion Policy

Effective Date: 02/14/2025

At Studio 99, we respect your privacy, your rights, and your control over your personal data. This Account Deletion Policy explains what happens when you or Studio 99 deletes an account, what data is retained or erased, and how state laws—including special requirements in California, New York, and other jurisdictions—are recognized.

1. Customer-Initiated Deletion

You may request to delete your Studio 99 account at any time. The procedure is as follows:

  • Login to your account through the Studio 99 app or the Studio 99 website.
  • When you request account deletion, the system will prompt you to re-enter your password for security verification.
  • The system will then send a confirmation email to your registered email address.
  • Once you confirm through the email link, your account will be permanently deleted, along with all associated content and stored data.
  • After deletion is complete, the process is irreversible. All stored data is erased and cannot be recovered.

To start a new account after deletion, you will need to sign up again through the Studio 99 website or app as a new user.

2. Studio 99-Initiated Deletion
  • Studio 99 reserves the right to delete or suspend accounts in cases of policy violations, fraud, unlawful activity, or extended inactivity, consistent with our Terms of Use.
  • When Studio 99 deletes an account, all associated content and data are erased following the same process as customer-initiated deletion.
3. Permanent Deletion of Content

Deletion includes removal of:

  • Profile information and login credentials
  • Uploaded or stored content (video, audio, images, documents)
  • Messages and communications
  • Billing and payment methods (except where legally required to retain)

Once deletion is completed, the process is final and irreversible.

4. State Law Compliance
  • California (CCPA/CPRA): California residents may request deletion of personal data, subject to exceptions for compliance, fraud prevention, and financial reporting.
  • New York: We comply with New York privacy and consumer laws to ensure transparency and control over data.
  • Other States: We follow all U.S. state and federal laws regarding privacy, data deletion, and retention, including Colorado, Virginia, and Connecticut frameworks.
5. Exceptions & Retention

Certain information must be retained to meet legal or compliance obligations, including:

  • Tax, accounting, or financial records for statutory retention periods
  • Fraud-prevention or security-related data
  • De-identified or aggregated data not linked to an individual
